"We did it!' -Dora the Explorer

To all of those faithful Dora watchers, (sadly, we are), we did it! If you've seen Dora, you know she sings this little song after she reaches her destination each show. Our house is officially on the market. It only took us two years longer than anticipated. We have been going crazy finishing up the odds and ends, packing things up, and cleaning. We just need our house to sell-- and quickly. Our realtor is actually going to offer any realtor who can bring in a buyer some of his cut, so we can sell as quickly as possible. We have our eye on a house so, hopefully, everything will work out.

Doug started paternity leave today and loved it. He is much better than I am at being Mr. Mom. (Not that I would be Mr. Mom, just mom.) I, in return, began working today. It was wonderful to see my students and actually talk with adults. By the end of the day, word had gotten around that I was back and was visited by numerous students. Also, my sub did a great job with keeping things in order. (Thankfully.)
Doug also began classes for his masters today. He logged in last night to see all of his assignments. Fortunately for him, Walden had changed multiple things. He does not have nearly as many papers for the same classes that I took. Instead of 2-3 papers a week, he only has one every two weeks. He is so lucky! This actually made him feel a little bit better about getting everything done that he needs to do.
Since my nights are free right now with Doug doing his homework, I am currently reading Tuesdays with Morrie. It is a terrific book. My sub began reading it to my Read 180 classes, and they really like it. Morrie uses a lot of aphorisms to get life lessons across and that is right up my alley. I absolutely love a good memoir. Next on my list is Angels and Demons. I have to read it before we go see it in the theater. We only go to the movies once a year, and this is going to be our movie to watch. Sadly, I know that I will be disappointed because the movies are never as good as the books.
Sorry about the lack of paragraph breaks. I am fighting with my computer and obviously losing.
